Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Bark Recipe (Fun, Healthy & Kid-Approved!)

clean eating treats easy dessert healthy dessert healthy desserts healthy snacks kid-friendly recipes no bake desserts strawberry recipes

This frozen yogurt bark has officially become my secret weapon for snack time.

It’s cold, creamy, and just sweet enough — made with real yogurt, fresh strawberries, and crunchy toppings that make every bite a little surprise.

I started making this when I was trying to wean myself (and my daughter!) off the “grab a cookie” afternoon habit. We needed something easy, healthy, and actually fun. And this? Checks every box.

It’s no-bake, naturally sweetened, and takes just a few minutes to prep. Plus, it looks like something you’d find at a fancy frozen yogurt shop — but it’s made with clean, real ingredients. 🙌

🍓 Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt

  • 2–3 tbsp maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced thin

  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds or pistachios

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or hemp seeds (optional for crunch)

  • Optional: shredded coconut, dark chocolate drizzle, or freeze-dried strawberries

🥣 Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix the base: In a bowl, stir together yogurt, sweetener, and vanilla until smooth.

  3. Spread it out: Pour yogurt onto the lined baking sheet and spread evenly into a thin layer (about ¼–½ inch thick).

  4. Top it up: Scatter sliced strawberries evenly across the surface. Sprinkle with nuts, seeds, coconut, or any toppings you like!

  5. Freeze: Place in the freezer for 3–4 hours or until completely solid.

  6. Break & store: Once frozen, break into pieces and store in a freezer-safe container. Enjoy straight from the freezer!

🍴 Sarah’s Notes & Tips:

  • Dairy-free? Use a thick coconut yogurt for a creamy, plant-based version.

  • Low sugar option: Use plain yogurt and skip sweetener if your strawberries are super ripe!

  • Kid-friendly tip: Let little hands help decorate with toppings!

  • Make ahead: Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks — perfect for grab-and-go snacks.

Flavorful Conclusion:

This Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Bark is one of those magical recipes that’s healthy, pretty, and actually easy enough to make on a busy weekday.

Whether you serve it as a cooling summer snack, a sweet post-dinner treat, or a fun “mom win” for your snack board — it’s always a hit. 💕
