Ingredients:
-
1½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
-
Optional: red pepper flakes, for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1: Prep the Steak
Season steak bites generously with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add steak bites in a single layer. Sear undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until browned. Flip and cook an additional 2 minutes until desired doneness. Remove steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Garlic Butter Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Step 4: Combine & Serve
Return steak bites to skillet, tossing well to coat evenly in garlic butter sauce. Cook an additional minute to warm through. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
