Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Wrap Recipe

15-minute meal customizable meals easy dinner recipes freezer friendly kid friendly pepperoni recipes pizza night quick lunch serves 4 skillet meals

Some nights, I just don’t have the energy for a full pizza night—but I still want something that feels like comfort food. That’s exactly why I love this Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Wrap.

It has everything you love about a classic slice: melty cheese, zesty sauce, and crispy pepperoni—all wrapped up in a soft tortilla that crisps up beautifully in the pan. It’s ready in under 10 minutes and totally customizable for picky eaters.

It’s also one of my favorite back-pocket lunch ideas for the kids (and let’s be honest… for me too).

Ingredients (makes 4 wraps):

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 24–30 slices pepperoni

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Optional add-ins: sliced black olives, chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach

  • Olive oil or butter, for the skillet

Instructions:

  1. Assemble the wraps: Spread 2 tbsp of pizza sauce over half of each tortilla. Sprinkle with mozzarella, add pepperoni, and any other toppings you like. Fold in half.

  2. Cook: Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush lightly with olive oil or butter. Cook wraps for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and melty.

  3. Cool & serve: Let cool slightly before slicing into halves or wedges. Serve with extra sauce for dipping, or a simple green salad on the side.

Sarah’s Tips & Swaps:

  • Air fryer option: Cook at 375°F for 5–6 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Low-carb version: Use low-carb tortillas or even a large collard green leaf for a wrap.

  • Make it vegetarian: Use sautéed mushrooms, peppers, and onions instead of pepperoni.

  • Lunchbox tip: These travel well! Wrap in foil and pack with a little container of marinara for dipping.

Flavorful Conclusion:

These Pepperoni Pizza Wraps are the kind of meal you’ll turn to again and again—especially when the fridge is low and the kids are hangry. They’re simple, tasty, and bring all the pizza-night vibes without the mess or prep. Sometimes, that’s exactly what dinner needs to be.
