Fresh Fruit Pizza with Cream Cheese

One of the first “fancy” desserts I ever made for a party was this Fresh Fruit Pizza. I was short on time, had random fruit in the fridge, and needed something fun. It turned out so beautiful, and people raved about it like I’d baked a masterpiece. It’s now a go-to in our house — especially during spring and summer. My kids love decorating it with me, and I love how it always looks like sunshine on a plate.

 

Fresh Fruit Pizza with Cream Cheese

Ingredients:

For the cookie crust:

  • 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough (or homemade, if preferred)

For the cream cheese frosting:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup whipped topping or whipped cream

For the fruit topping:

  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

  • 1/2 cup kiwi, peeled and sliced

  • 1/2 cup mandarin orange segments

  • Optional: fresh mint, honey drizzle

 

Instructions:

  1. Bake the Crust
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the cookie dough onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet, pressing evenly to form a circle. Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let cool completely.

  2. Make the Cream Cheese Frosting
    In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.

  3. Assemble the Pizza
    Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cookie crust.

  4. Add the Fruit
    Arrange fresh fruit in a circular pattern or any design you like! Be creative — kids love helping here.

  5. Chill & Serve
    Chill for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh mint or a light honey drizzle if desired.
